Six-seed Tennessee Tech upset the third-seeded Panthers in five sets in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships earlier today.

Maddon Wins Manager of the Year
In Major League Baseball, the Cubs accolades continue, with Joe Maddon winning the Manager of the Year Award.
Maddon guided the Cubs to a 97 and 65 record and a berth in the National League Championship Series, one year after Chicago finished 16 games below .500.
