Conference Struggles Continue For EIU Men's Basketball
Eastern Illinois men's basketball continues to struggle in conference play.
A total of 18 turnovers from the Panthers led to 24 points for Southeast Missouri State and the defense didn't bode well either.
Antonius Cleveland led the Redhawks in scoring with 18 points, and Demetrius McReynolds 19 points for EIU wasn't enough in the 83-71 loss.

A back and forth battle with the University of Tennessee at Martin left the Eastern Illinois men's basketball team 11 points short.
The Panthers are nine-and-10 overall after an 82-71 loss against the Skyhawks Thursday night, dropping them to one-and-five in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Local boy's High School Basketball Update
It was a tough night for the Charleston high school boys team who traveled north for a contest with Rantoul. The Trojans Ridge Boyer led with 15 points, but that wasn't enough to come back from a 79-58 upset. Charleston's gets a week off and returns to action Tuesday against Sullivan.
