The state of Illinois is providing an $841,000 grant for construction work at the University of Illinois' airport.
Gov. Pat Quinn's office says the money will pay for new roadways and a new parking lot surface at Willard Airport in Savoy.
The town is just south of Champaign.
An Urbana construction company, Cross Construction, won the bid to do the work.
Quinn's office says the money came from a $31 billion capital program, Illinois Jobs Now!
