Charleston Brew Pubs

Wednesday, 6 December 2017

Some liquor laws are changing in Charleston.

On Tuesday, the city council unanimously voted to establish a new liquor license for brew pubs and craft brewers.

According to the city ordinance, this means a license holder can brew or manufacture their own beverages on site.

City clerk Deborah Mueller said the license will cost $1,400 and requires at least 15 percent of sales come from food.
