It's a tradition like no other at Eastern Illinois University.
Tomorrow kicks off the annual Festival of the Arts at EIU in Charleston.
This year's celebration happens between the Doudna Fine Arts Center and Buzzard buildings.
The festival gets underway at 11:30 a.m. Friday when the first band takes the stage and the food booths open.
This year's art fair is dedicated to journalism professor Doug Lawhead who passed away at the beginning of the fall semester.
