Douglas County Storm Damage

Some intense winds blew through Douglas county Thursday morning. The Douglas County Emergency Management Agency says just before 9am Thursday morning, a resident reported what they believed to be a tornado coming through the Carmargo area. Agency officials says it wasn't a tornado, but straight line winds that damaged properties at 1746 and 1750 East Country Road 875 North. They say a front porch was ripped from a home while other structures suffered roof damage. No injuries have been reported in Douglas County. Residents say along with the structural damage, lots of debris, and tree limbs are down in the area.
