The Effingham Police department is on the move.
Officials say the department has temporarily moved next-door to the city hall, while their new facility is being built.
The department says anyone needing to visit the police station should use the west city hall entrance on the corner of Third Street and Jefferson Avenue.
All access to City Hall will now be on the East Entrance while the new station is being constructed.
The department hopes to start demolition soon, with construction beginning in June or July.
