Police in Jasper County are looking for who's responsible for growing marijuana near Rose Hill.
Jasper County State's Attorney Chad Miller says conservation officers and the sheriff department seized seven cannabis plants from a rural property of an elderly man.
Miller believes the landowner knew nothing about the crime.
He says the plants were well taken care of, and that one of them was ten feet tall.
He says this is a relatively common occurance in rural Jasper County.
The investigation is on-going.
