A fatal accident is reported in Edgar County.
The Illinois State Police say the crash happened Tuesday morning on Illinois Route 1 approximately 1/2 mile south of Edgar County Road 550 North.
Police say the driver of a pickup truck was traveling south on Route 1 when for some reason crossed the center line and into the path of an oncoming semi-truck.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the victim, but say the driver of the semi-truck is from Dixon, IL.
The investigation continues.
