An Altamont man is sentenced after pleading guilty to causing an accident involving death.
In court Monday, 20-year-old Nathaniel Followell was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 30 months probation.
Followell was also ordered on six months home confinement.
Police say in January Followell was driving a truck that hit and killed 40-year-old William Coleman.
Followell's charges included failure to reduce speed, possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.
