A Taylorville man is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed violence after allegedly stabbing a woman in the neck.
Officials say Jesse Blades was caught after a foot-chase through the woods on Monday.
Christian County 911 received a call about a 44-year-old woman that had been stabbed in the neck in Pana.
Officials say the victim was taken from Pana Community Hospital to Springfield Hospital Trama Center for surgery.
Court records show Blades' bond is set at half a million dollars, and he's due back in court on Thursday.
