The Eastern Illinois University men's basketball team is going to have some tough competition early in the season.
EIU just released its 2015-16 schedule, opening up the season with an exhibition game against Saint Francis University at home.
It doesn't get any easier after that because the Panthers first road game is against Indiana Uiniversity to start the regular season.
Eastern will have two four-game home stands. The first one starts Nov. 21, and the second starts Feb 1.
Last season, the Panthers won a postseason game for the first time in 14 years, and will be returning the two players who were key to that success, Cornell Johnston and Trae Anderson.
