An investigation is underway in Pana after a juvenile is stabbed.
Last night, Pana police were contacted by a local hospital because they were treating a 17-year-old for a stab wound to the lower back.
Police say the victim was taken to Springfield Saint Johns Trauma Center for futher treatment.
They say the stabbing took place at a home on Kitchell Avenue.
Authorities say the suspect is also a 17-year-old and charged with robbery and attempted murder.
No names or motive are being released.
