A company announces the proposed route a new power line will take through central Illinois.
The project by Clean Line Energy Partners will deliver wind energy from western Kansas to utilities, and customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and states farther east.
The company says the project will bring construction jobs to the area between 2017 and 2019.
