Indiana State University has started preparing for demolition of two of its buildings.

ISU's vice president for business affairs and finance Diann McKee says the fifteen story Statesman Twin Towers will be demolished next month.

McKee says the buildings have sat vacant for the last three years.

She says the project will cost less than $4,000,000,and when completed will be a "green space" on campus.

The buildings were used as residence halls and later housed the colleges of business and education.
