Champaign County authorities charge an apartment complex maintenance man with sexual assault of a child.
Norman Simpson, 65, is charged with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Authorities say he assaulted the girl, who is now 11, when she visited the building.
At that time, she was between 6 and 10 years old.
Simpson is being held on $750,000 bond.
