Officials say two people are making their way around Christian County claiming to sell cheap asphalt, and it may be a scam.
Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp says the individuals are riding around in a grey short-bed pick-up truck, claiming to have left over asphalt.
Kettelkamp says the individuals are targeting senior citizens and females who live alone, getting paid, then never doing the work.
Kettelkamp asks that if purchasing asphalt, buy it from individuals who have a good reputation for selling it.
