Marshall Truck Stop

Friday, 26 September 2014

Construction for a full-service truck stop in Marshall is underway! The ground is being leveled for the site of the 6.2 million dollar facility set to be built just north of the I-70 exit. The idea of a truck stop in this location is receiving support from locals and semi-truck drivers alike! Bishop says that of the 20,000 cars that pass through Marshall on I-70 every day, only about 100 pull off and stop. The location in Marshall would be convenient, since Marshall is the first interstate exit coming into Illinois on 70. The Road Ranger USA is hoping to open its full-service truck stop by January 1, 2015.
