A historic season for Eastern Illinois wide receiver Erik Lora comes to a close with another award for the redshirt junior.
Lora was named to the 2012 All-American team after posting a school record 1,664 receiving yards and an FCS record 136 receptions last season.
Lora also set the Ohio Valley Conference record for catches in a game (21).
This is the seventh first-team All-American selection for Lora.
EIU quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and place kicker Cameron Berra received honorable mentions.
All three starters will return next season after winning their first OVC championship since the 2001.
