Government Shutdown Local Reaction

A local university is keeping a close look on the government shutdown. Eastern Illinois University's President Bill Perry is looking out for nearly 9,000 students, many of which who recieve financial aid. Several people say though this may not affect locals personally, residents should have a voice in the decision making. Political observers say they do not believe the shutdown will last much longer, and a decision needs to be made.
