Eastern Illinois University women’s soccer head coach Summer Perala will step down from her position in July.
Perala says she's enjoyed her time at EIU and plans to pursue other professional opportunities.
Perala coached the Panthers for four seasons compiling a 25-41-13 record.
EIU made the OVC Women’s Soccer Tournament three times during Perala’s four years advancing to the semifinals in 2010.
EIU will open the 2013 season on August 23rd hosting Oakland University.
