The city of Charleston celebrates the service of some officials this week.
A reception for former Charleston Mayor John Inyart is planned for Thursday at City Hall.
The reception starts at 11:30 and goes until 1.
Sandwiches, cake, and beverages will be served.
The reception is open to the public.
