The Villa Grove community is sure happy to see a little sunshine! But a massive clean up project has just begun for residents. Many people were out all day cleaning up from last weeks flooding, flooding that covered roads, and ended up in yards and basements. Governor Pat Quinn announced today that FEMA will assist in damage assessments in several Illinois counties, including Champaign and Douglas. The assessments will start April 29 and will provide the documentation those communities need to request federal assistance with cleanup.
