The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services shuts down three in-home Shelbyville daycares.
D.C.F.S. officials said an anonymous tip led to an investigation into the homes that were believed to be overpopulated.
Officials said after an investigation, suspicions were confirmed and the daycares were closed.
Child Services records state that without a license, in home daycares can care for a maximum of three children, including their own.
There is no indication at this time the daycares will re-open.
