Volunteer work is rewarding, and the Arcola Food Pantry has plenty of opportunities.
Arcola Food Pantry Principal Officer Janice Gee said they serve fifty families in Douglas County each week.
She said they need at least fifteen volunteers to help unload trucks, divide and shelve goods, and assist people in the store.
The pantry is open Thursdays from 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM.
