Mattoon Police arrest a woman for aggravated battery to a police officer.
Police said the arrest happened in the 1000 block of Moultrie Avenue on Wednesday while they were dealing with a report of domestic violence.
They said 39-year old Cindy Prather of Mattoon became upset before kicking an officer.
They said Prather was taken to the Coles County Jail.
