Mattoon High School volleyball finds success in the playoffs, and will be moving on!
Mattoon defeated Lincoln in straight sets Thursday night and now wait until Monday ... when they start the sectional playoffs against Sacred Heart-Griffin in Springfield.
The Cyclones head in to Monday's match up with a 23 and 6 record, they're undefeated in conference play.
Taylorville and Mount Zion won their Regions as well last night, Taylorville defeated Highland in straight sets.
Mount Zion dropped the first set in a competitive match with Rochester but went on to win the next two sets, by a combined five points.
Both Taylorville and Mt. Zion resume play Monday as well, they play each other in a match set for 6:30.
