Decatur Infant Murder

Friday, 6 October 2017

The trial for a Decatur man accused of killing his infant child is delayed.

Officials say they haven't received all of the expert reports needed to proceed with the trial for 23-year-old Duan Lewis.

Lewis was arrested in connection with the death of a five-month-old infant after authorities responded to a report of a child not breathing in March.

The child was taken to a hospital and died a few days later.

Lewis returns to court for another hearing November 27th with a trial scheduled for December 4th.
