The University of Illinois men's basketball team is about to get some major offensive help.
The Fighting Illini are signing four-star recruit, Mark Smith.
Smith is a six-foot-four guard who can nearly do it all as he averaged 21 points, eight assists and eight rebounds per game.
Smith helped Edwardsville High School to a 30-2 season, en route to being named the Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year and Illinois' Mr. Basketball.
This marks newly hired head coach Brad Underwood's first signing on the recruiting trail.
