Illinois State Police have some safe driving tips for teens preparing for prom.
State Police said troopers will be out looking for speeding, distracted and drunken drivers and anyone not wearing a seat belt.
Officials said with aggresive enforcement of those fatal four violations, state police will conduct high-visibility patrols.
Officials also said car crashes kill more teens during the weekends of prom and graduation than any other time of year.
