Head coach John Groce announced earlier Illinois State forward Jon Ekey and Seton Hall guard Aaron Cosby have agreed to join the Fighting Illini.
Ekey will play immediately as a transfer graduate student, but Cosby will take the bench for the season.
Ekey shot 44.6 percent for Illinois State and averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds a game this season.
Cosby started 27 games at guard and averaged 12.6 points.
He was second on the team in assists with 92.
