The Charleston police department is handling a case involving a sexual predator.
Police say 40-year-old Marvin Scott was arrested for allegedly sending harmful materials to a juvenile, indecent solicitation of a minor, and multiple violations of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.
Scott is in the Coles County Jail waiting for a court appearance.
An investigation into the matter is still on-going
