More arrests are made in a Mattoon armed robbery case.
Authorities say on February 19th, officers responded to apartments at 4215 Lakeland Boulevard after a victim reported being robbed by a group of men.
The male victim says the suspects forcibly entered his apartment, demanded money and beat him with a handgun.
After the incident, 21-year-old Kenneth Moultrie Junior was identified as one suspect in the case and charged with home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
On Monday, police arrested four more suspects facing similar charges including Edward D. Allen, age 24 of Charleston, Jack M. Nixon, age 18 of Charleston, Brianna N. Harshbarger, age 22 of Charleston, and Danny Tejada, age 20 of Charleston.
Authorities are still searching for 20-year-old Andrew Tristian Allen.
The victim in this case was treated by paramedics for cuts other injuries to his head and face.
