Four people appear in a Vigo County courtroom accused of neglect after the death of a nine year old who authorities say
was malnourished.
The four are being held in the Vigo County Jail under a quarter million dollar bond each.
The Vigo County Sheriff's Office says officers responded Tuesday to a 9-1-1 call about a child in cardiac arrest at a home near Fontanet.
Officers say Cameron Hoopingarner was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Vigo County Sheriff Greg Ewing says Cameron was blind and weighed less than 15 pounds.
Charges against the four include neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
They return to court next week.
