Hunting season is over and harvesting numbers are down compared to last season.
Officials say hunters in Illinois harvested more than 144,000 deer during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, which is much less than the season before.
They say during this year's deer season, hunters took 44% does and 56% males.
Coles County took in more than 1,000 deer.
