The upcoming trial for a Monticello man who's pleaded not guilty to murdering his wife is rescheduled.
Court documents say Piatt County Judge Karle Koritz granted the request by Gregory Houser's attorneys.
The request asks for Houser's trial to be moved from January 3, 2017 to April 3rd, 2017.
An arrest warrant was issued in October charging Houser with the death of Sheryl Ann Houser.
She was found strangled with a rope around her neck in the garage of their home near Mahomet in October 1990.
Houser will return to court February 27, 2017.
