An Urbana man charged with the murder of his wife is sentenced to prison.
Court documents say 38-year-old Shaun Thomas is sentenced to 45 years, with a credit of 183 days already served.
Thomas originally pleaded guilty to first degree murder after the body of his 37-year-old wife, Jessica Thomas, was found in a plastic tote.
Documents say three of the four charges against Thomas were dismissed.
Thomas' final charge is first degree murder.
