Rose Honors Veteran

Lawmakers are honoring a former Villa Grove resident.
State Senator Chapin Rose is honoring World War II veteran Charles Bruns.
Bruns served in the US Army for four years, where he took part in five invasions around the world.
This isn't the first time Bruns has been honored either.
In 2015 Bruns was appointed to the rank of Knight of the Legion of Honor, which is France's highest distinction.
