The EIU women's basketball team will bank on having a long season.
The Lady Panthers will have 29 games this season, 13 of which will be at home as they released their schedule earlier today.
Eastern is coming off a losing season only winning three games last year.
Looking over the schedule the Panthers will once again take on Western Illinois, Cincinnati and Indiana State.
EIU's 2016-17 non-conference schedule features only four teams from last season's schedule.
The Panthers open their season at Lantz Arena on Novemeber 11th against Millikin.
EIU finishes the season with home-and-home games against Austin Peay, UT Martin, Southeast Missouri, and SIU Edwardsville with single games against Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech on Feb. 1 and Feb. 4.
