Drug-Free Classes in Coles County

Parents in Cole's County are teaming up to prevent drug and alcohol abuse in the community.

The Central East Alcoholism and Drug Council is hosting a free program for parents to help prevent drug and alcohol abuse.

CEAD Council says the five week series will cover a variety of topics from drugs and alcohol to strengthening family bonds.

The classes will meet in Mattoon on August 29th, September 12th, 19th, 26th and October 3rd at the CEAD Council's Adolescent Outpatient Office.

Classes will also meet in Charleston on August 31st, September 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th at the CEAD Council's Women's Recovery Home Group, Room 720.

Each meeting will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
