Tuscola Cemetery Vandalism

Tuesday, 9 April 2013

Not one, but dozens of memorials were vandalized at a Tuscola cemetery. The stones were pushed over causing knicks, chips, and scratches. Authorities say the damage happened last Tuesday and again Saturday. They say the ground was soft, so several stones were easy to push over, while others took the work of several people. So far, no arrests have been made. Workers from Adams Memorials in Charleston say they have repaired nearly all of the headstones and their bases. Cemetery officials say, at this point, they don't have a cost estimate on the damage.
