Charleston High School sent a sharp shooter to Peoria to try and get a trophy of his own.
Junior Guard Will Strader advanced to final round of the 3 point contest after making 11 shots in the preliminaries of Class 3-A.
But today in the final, Strader only hit six of 15 shots finishing in a tie for third out of the four competitors who made it to the championship.
Jack Westerkamp of Montini won the 3-A Championship hitting 10 three's.
