Weather was almost an issue again for the Eastern Illinois softball team, but the game must go on.
This afternoon the Panthers played the final game of their series against Austin Peay.
The Panthers got out to a quick two to zero lead and never looked back, taking the win 12-8.
EIU also won the series two games to one ... moving them to 7-12 on the year.
Next up for EIU is at Morehead State Saturday at noon.
