An Effingham family business serving the community not for years, but six decades, announces it's closing!
Co-owner of Poland Sales, Gary Poland, says the auto sales and service business started on Henrietta Street in 1957.
He says his parents, the owners, are retiring.
Poland says the service department will close at the end of the month, but the sales department will be on hand until the inventory of vehicles is cleared.
In all, fifteen employees will be laid off with the closing.
