Two local banks will soon be joining forces!
Washington Savings Bank of Effingham and First Federal Savings and Loan of Mattoon are merging.
Washington Savings Bank President Dave Deodtman says all members of both banks will now get trust and investment services, rewards checking, and improved home loan services.
Deodtman says the process will take a couple of months but should be done by summer.
