CHAMPAIGN, IL -- Champaign police are still working to make arrests in a fatal shooting.
Champaign Police say they responded to two seperate shootings early Saturday morning.
Champaign police were dispatched to West Bradley Avenue and located a 35-year-old male gunshot victim.
While investigating this shooting officers were dispatched to a second shooting around Summit Ridge and Hedge road.
Officers say the second shooting victim, 24-year-old Jermel Hendrick, left the scene and was transported
by car to a local hospital where he died.
No other names are being released.
