Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler will miss the teams' final preseason game with a sprained thumb on his non-shooting hand.
Butler sat out Chicago's last preseason game against the Cavaliers and his status for the regular season opener against the Knicks is uncertain.
The Bulls travel to St. Louis Friday to close out the preseason exhibition schedule against the Bucks.
