The University of Illinois is looking to build a whole new medical center.
A committee of faculty members has endorsed a proposal to add a medical school to the Urbana-Champaign campus.
Officials say this is just one step of many toward building the 200 million dollar facility.
U of I officials say this proposal must still be approved by the full faculty senate, and the board of trustees.
