A prayer service will be held at St. Mary's School in Mattoon in honor of those lives that were lost on September 11th.
Third grade teacher Kyla Ballinger helped put together the event, and says the public is welcome to attend.
The service will begin at 9 a.m.
The event will be held around the school flagpole, and in the event of rain it will be moved to the school gym.
