Despite a 10-20 season, the Eastern Illinois men's basketball team still has some hope.
With a win Saturday afternoon against Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, the Panthers can clinch a berth in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
A loss would also put the Panthers in contention, but they would need Tennessee Tech to drop their final two games and UT Martin to drop one of their weekend contests.
The OVC Tournament appearance would be the first for the Panthers since the 2009-2010 season where they finished 11-7 in the OVC.
Saturday's game is also senior night, and the Panthers will celebrate with their annual Blue Out Lantz Arena.
