A judge rejects the guilty plea from a man authorities say escaped the Robinson Correctional Center.
Crawford County State's Attorney Matthew Hartrich says his office came up with a plea deal with Jared Carter's
legal team.
In the deal, 30-year-old Carter would plead guilty and serve six additional years in prison for his escape last August.
Hartrich says today in court, the judge rejected the deal.
Carter is currently serving time at the Pontiac Correctional Center.
He returns to court for another hearing March 26.
